I use mint (dot com) for tracking my expenses and they look at everything you do and then tell you what the best credit card is. It is also free. I looked at quickbooks online and I think mint is a little better.

I have to agree with Joan. Childcare prices are so expensive. Sometimes all you need to do is readjust your budget to see if you can make it work by staying home.

I wish I could be that organized. Still searching for the perfect solution. Seems that every day I come home and have to clean the same things over and over again. Still looking for that hack on how to get my kids and husbands to be better at cleaning up after themselves!

I break down the chores into daily tasks. On Mondays I do laundry, on Tuesday I dust and vacuum, on Wednesday I sweep and mop, Thursday I clean the bathrooms, Friday I organize the kitchen and any other room that needs organizing, and on Saturday I dust and vacuum again.

I am always looking for ideas of activities to do with my kids on rainy days, so I cut out articles I see in magazines that give craft ideas. I also save popsicle sticks and string and have these items available for emergency craft needs!

The grocery game is a good idea to save money on groceries, too. Basically you search out coupons in the newspaper ads and on online resources, and you also pull up the various store ads to see which items are on sale and when. Yes, you may have to drive from store to store, but you will save countless dollars in the long run.

I usually get my groceries at Wal-mart because they are significantly cheaper than other chain grocers. I do use the "bullet" ground meats because they are cheaper by at least $1 or $2 per pound. The meat's the same - you're just not spending the extra money on packaging.
