Right now, if you’re like me the rainy days have you wishing for sunshine and basking outdoors in the warmth. But, like me, you might be wishing that your outdoor furniture could get a facelift. Well thanks to the folks over at Makezine.com you can spend those deary days indoors sprucing up your furniture for the summer. By adding pipes, cedar slats, and updated cushions you can do amazing things with that old weathered loveseat!

Make an End Table out of Magazines… really!

This was a tip I just had to share - a table made of magazines and nothing else! And no, before you ask, this is not just a stack of magazines piled together. It’s actually quite artisitc. Here are the first two steps… intrigued? Read on!

Pull out any subscription cards from inside the magazine. (And subscribe if you like it–it’s so much cheaper than buying off the newstand!)

Flip open the magazines and leave the cover out to the left. Thumb threw (about) ten pages, then fold them in half towards you, tucking the page ends back towards the binding. The crease should be on the right side, and the loose ends should be on the top.
